GRABE! ALL THAT FOR A MEASLY 2 HOUR SUBJECT!!
Ok, rant ito sa CRS na super galing kanina.
Disclaimer lang ano,
I actually think that this real-time enlistment is a good idea,
unfortunately, mali talaga yung timing ng implementation.
Here are why it's realy wrong timing:
1.
since it is just an 'experiment', it's not good to put so many people's
chances to get a subject on the line for it. kasi, testing pa lang
naman ito.
2. sa dinamidami ng mga tao na gustong mag-cancel/enlist, why oh why sa first day of summer reg pa?
3. bakit di na lang muna mag-test run ng capacity ng server before implementation?
4.
if you guys were like us, in the middle of all that chaos, you'll
understand. imagine waiting for hours just to get one or two subjects?
kamusta naman sa mga tulad ko na WALA TALAGANG NAKUHA NOONG REGULAR
RUN??
5. and of course, wala man lang PLAN B? kasi sana man lang hindi inasa sa online enlistment at may manual enlistment pa rin.
hmmm...
i really think this real-time thing is a good idea kasi in theory, it
makes enlisting easier for the students. pero i think na dapat munang
i-consider yung capacity ng site. tsaka, i think it would have been
better kung sa start pa lang ng summer enlistment ganito na. kasi in
theory, once the students already got their desired subjects, hindi na
sila babalik sa site to check if they got it kasi nga, instant na. pero
siyempre, first come first served pa rin.
ewan... sobrang daming tao ang naabala kanina. sobrang daming napikon. it was UP's ULTIMATE TEST OF PATIENCE.
bad move for the crs team or whoever is in charge of approving this system. good idea, wrong timing, wrong implementation.
